
Regan, John Edward “Toby”-58, of Dartmouth passed away surrounded by family and loved ones on October 19, 2014 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Amherst, he was a son of the late Camille and Gladys Regan. Toby, as he was known as by his fellow drivers drove taxi for over 30 years, the majority of this time with Blue Bell (Bob’s). Johnny was kind hearted and very generous, he would help anyone in need and over the years opened his door to many people who had nowhere to go. This kindness also extended to animals in need. He loved to spend time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Connors; step son, Adrian Connors; brother, Howard (Kathee); grandchildren, Caleb, Leland, Miah-Lynn; nephew, Jason (April); niece, Kasha; and grand nephews, Joshua and Matthew. He was predeceased by his brother Roger in infancy.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 24, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8pm with a prayer service at 7pm, in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth.
