MacNeil, Joseph Anthony – 79, of Dartmouth, passed away August 29, 2011 Born in Poulamon, NS, he was the son of the late Hugh Joseph and Margaret (Boudreau) MacNeil. For the majority of his working life Joe was employed as a custodian at Dalhousie University. Surviving is his wife Patricia Ann (Miller), step-daughter Judith Quinn, Liverpool NS, sisters Marie MacNeil, Antigonish NS, Helen (Tom) Colpa, Dartmouth NS, and Lorraine (Donald) Nelson, Chilliwack, BC and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers John, Gerald, Leonard and Alexander, and a sister Mary Theresa MacDonald. By request, there will be no viewing at the funeral home. Cremation has occurred and a gravesite interment ceremony will occur at 11:00 AM on September 3, 2011 at Mount Hermon Cemetery, Dartmouth NS.
