Born in Margaree Valley, Cape Breton on May 10th 1943, she was the youngest daughter of the late James and Alma Heatley.
She is survived by partner Louis Walsh as well as siblings Robert and John (Elizabeth) Heatley, Marlene (Milton) Bursey, and Margaret (Bruce) Ingraham.
As Kareen requested there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Burial at a later date.
