Born in Dartmouth on August 15, 1931, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Lester and Adelaide Redmond.

She was predeceased by her husband Harold “Harry”, sons Paul and William and son-in-law Frank Feeney.
Kathleen and her husband Harry ran a grocery and taxi business for many years in Dartmouth. Later in life, Kathleen went to work at the Department of Community Services and retired from there in 1991. She was in the Daughters of Isabella and Harry was a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. Her and Harry enjoyed playing Mr. & Mrs. Santa at various nursing homes in the HRM and volunteering at the old Infirmary Hospital bringing patients down to Mass. Kathleen was a big fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and she and Harry went to Toronto to watch the games, and she later enjoyed watching them at home with her son William. She also enjoyed reading and doing crafts, but her greatest passion was dancing and volunteering at the annual Maritime Fiddle Festival. She obtained her driver’s license at the age of 60 and enjoyed her four-wheeled freedom and independence.
