Please accept my deepest condolences. I was lucky to have Leeland in my math support group when he was in grade 2 at Harbour View. I will never forget his sweet face and pleasant demeanour. Leeland always had a big smile and even a bigger story to share. I consider myself lucky to have spent time with him.

Hello,
I met Leeland when he visited his great-grandmother at Admiral's Coast retirement home in CBS, NL. Such a kind caring boy! My deepest condolences to you and families at this most difficult and sad time. I attach a picture where Leeland reached out to hug me, XOXO.

I don't think we met officially though we likely passed in the hallways of 6 Link and shared a knowing smile. My heart aches for your loss, our childrens' journey through cancer provide their parents with the incredible moments of terror and sadness, but also glimmers of amazing memories of sheer bliss that this tiny human you gave birth to can be so incredible. Cherish those moments and know Leeland not only walks with the angels, he will be the guiding light and guardian angel for another IWK warrior.
