I light a candle to help guide my friend Leon to his place of eternal slumber and pray that he is at peace. He will always be remembered and loved by us and one day we will see each other again in the beautiful heavens of God. I pray that this light helps him find his way in the dark to that beautiful place of peace and love and that his light shines the brightest of all!! We love you Leon and will see you again

My sincerest condolences to George Jr and the whole family of Leon. I was his last tennant mainfloor on Russell St and he and I became close friends. He was a great person who really cared for people and always had a smile for anyone. I had just been notified of his passing today and regret my not being able to attend the funeral.  He was a beautiful person inside and out. He will be forever missed by my children who had the pleasure of knowing him and in my heart as well.God bless him,and may he rest in peace with  love and eternal comfort in heaven.

So sad to hear about Leon's passing. I recently served with him onboard the St. John's and it was an honour to do so. I know he loved George and his family and my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

We were shocked and deeply saddened upon hearing of Leon's untimely death. He was our son's (Jason) best friend in high school and spent a lot of time at our house. Sincere condolences to the family.  I had the honor to serve with Leon at ADAC in the mid 90's.  He was an outstanding worker, always smiling and upbeat. He will be missed.  Much too young.
