Leonard Wallace Leitch

Leonard Wallace Francis Leitch, of Dartmouth, NS, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2021, at Dartmouth General Hospital. Born on December 23, 1929 in Halifax, he was the son of the late Williamena Leitch (Chinn), and the late Leonard Leitch. Leonard had a long career with Canada Post where he held various positions. He was an avid walker, and had keen interests in ham radio and the many small things that add colour to life.

Leonard is survived by his two daughters, Carolyn and Christine; three grandchildren, Cayla, Luke, and Douglas; and niece Laurie and nephew Kent. He was predeceased by loving wife and long companion, Marie Leitch (Ab-bott). The family would like to thank the staff at Jamieson Hall at Parkland on the Lakes, Dartmouth for their sup-port during the last years of Leonard’s life, and the staff at Four West, Dartmouth General Hospital for their care.

Honouring Leonard’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
