Marie Marguerite Brown

Brown, Marie Marguerite – 86, of Dartmouth. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marie, who passed away at Dartmouth General Hospital, November 16, 2015. Born in Cheticamp, NS, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Delvina (Poirier)LeBlanc. Marie worked at the Nova Scotia Hospital in Laundry for 25 years. After retiring she dedicated herself to her grandchildren. She is survived by son, Frank (Cynthia) Dartmouth; daughters, Dolena “Sis” (Marvin) O’Neil, Sydney; Brenda Fay (Bill) Ferguson; and Linda, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Jason (Melissa) Brown, Matthew Brown, Kristen and Tyler O’Neil, Robyn (Colin) Crawford, Samantha Ferguson; great-grandchildren, Jade, Emily, and Addison; Brother Willie, Cape Breton; Albert, NB. As well as many nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by brothers, Alex and George; sisters, Bea, Millie, and Rita. Visitation will take place from 6 – 8 pm on Thursday November 19, with a memorial service at 8pm all in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street.
