Mary Patricia Hatter

Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Fredrick and Pauline (Harley) Prest .She worked for Moirs Chocolate for many years until the plant closed. Then as a caregiver for Bay Shore Home Health until her accident earlier this year. She was a proud mother and grandmother and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She always had a warm smile and kind words for all who crossed her path. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son Adam Prest and daughter Christina (Rick) Webber, grandsons Chad and Tyler, and granddaughters Bailey, Hanna, Cheyenne and Madison, brother Frederick Prest ,Dartmouth, Olando (Cathy) Mackey, sisters Florence(Dalton) Smith Calgary, Frances Yohnke, Wilmont,Diana ( Dennis ) Kettle, Faye ( Grant) Boutilier of Dartmouth, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Husband Thomas Hatter and brother- in-law Nelson Yohnke. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home 217 Portland St. Dartmouth, on Friday November 4, 2011 at 1pm. Interment at a later date. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to The Autism Society of Nova Scotia.
