She was predeceased by husband, Blair; parents; and cat Buffy. Mary Lou enjoyed years of recreational league bowling, knitting, crosswords and computer card games. She has been, and will be, missed by the many friends she’s gathered after her 30plus year career of caring for donors and patients. Special thanks to Sinju Mathew and the 9 Central staff for her great care, especially in the last few months. There will be a visitation celebration of life 2-4 p.m., Saturday, September 18th in Mattatals Funeral Home, 217 Portland St., Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or the SPCA.
