Mary Rose Swales

Age 77, passed away on August 23, 2017. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, aunt, sister and friend. She was born on May 17, 1940. Mary Rose married the love of her life, Tommy and spent many happy years on Lake Charlotte, at the Olde Colony Social Club and many winter trips to Florida with friends. Mary Rose was dearly loved and is survived by her husband, Tommy of 56 years and their children, Brenda Lee (Jay) and Darren (Loretta); grandchildren, Ryan, Corey (Chantal), Jamie and Julia; great-grandchildren, Nixon and Nash. She is also survived by sisters, Louise, Arlene and Lorraine and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Jerry and Josephine Currie; brothers and sisters, Frank, Kenneth, Maude, Claire, Geraldine, Ellen and Betty Von. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 28th from 2-4 & 6-8pm in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 29 at 1pm in A. L.
