Maxine Theresa Slade of Dartmouth, NS passed away February 3, 2024 in Dartmouth General Hospital at the age of 87. Born in Halifax on November 17, 1936. She was the daughter of Ralph St. Clair Butler and Mary Agnes Fobin.
She is survived by Husband Leo, sons Stephen, Peter, David, Mark, and James. Brothers Ronnie, Kenny, Ralph, Jim, and Mike. Sisters Nancy and Anne. Grandchildren Melissa, Timothy, and Shannon. Great grandchildren Jeremy, Caitlin, Kylie, and Brody.
She is predeceased by brother William and sister Mary.
Maxine retired after 30 years of service as a Communicator with DND communications in the Dockyard.
Donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
There will be no service or visitation
Cremation has taken place.
