Norma Cavell Taylor

TAYLOR, Norma Cavell, 87 of Dartmouth, passed away July 11, 2011 at Ocean View Manor. Born in Woodside, she was the daughter of Joseph and Annie (McLeese) Fassett. She is survived by son, Peter, (Rosemary), daughter, Anne (Jim) Brannan, former daughter-in-law Pam Taylor, grandsons, Adam, Chris, Jimmy, Matthew, Tim (Natasha). Norma was predeceased by Orville, her husband of 65 years, her sisters Margaret, Frances and |Jean, brothers Joey, Herb, and grandson, Colin. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Norma worked many years for Canada Permanent Trust Company and was head of Securities at the time of her retirement. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed many summers at the family camp on the Gays River. Norma had a generous and kind spirit and was always concerned with the welfare of others. The funeral will take place at St. Alban’s Anglican Church, 345 Pleasant St., Dartmouth on Monday, July 18 at 2 pm.
