Olive May (Cohoon) Sparks

Sparks (Campbell), Olive May - Age 90, passed away in Dartmouth General Hospital on December 5, 2018. Born in Stanley, Olive was a daughter of the late Spencer and Edna (Anthony) Campbell. She is survived by husband, Albert; sons John and Barry (Danita) Cohoon; stepdaughters, Carol (Clovie), Donna (Greg), and Cathy (John); 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Caldwell, Valley; and many nieces and nephews. A graduate of the Aberdeen Hospital School of Nursing (1950), Olive’s career spanned many years at Payzant Memorial Hospital and Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. In addition to her parents, Olive was predeceased by husbands, Donald Cohoon and Grant Sanford; brother, Glen (Myrtle) Campbell; sister, Aileen Campbell; and brother-in-law, Egbert Caldwell. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family burial will follow at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
