Very sad to hear this. I worked with Paul at Coulter and always looked forward to my trips north because of it.  He was just a funny, smart guy who never made sales boring or tedious.  He will be missed but remembered.

I knew Paul when I was just a kid (more then 30 years ago, when he dated my mother). He was so good to us both: caring, clever, and so much fun to be around. Mom and I have reminisced about the "Paul Years" a few times over the decades. We had a lot of fun then.

When his obituary went viral it appeared in my Facebook feed ... I knew at once who it was - that face! I laughed and cried all at once. 

My sincere condolences to Paul's partner,  family and many, many friends. He was obviously well-loved and had a wonderful life.

I was shocked and so very saddened to hear of Paul's passing. He was an extraordinary person. So much fun to be around, intelligent and caring. I'll always remember that he wrote a poem for me when I had my daughter (23 years ago) and it was hilarious. For him to take the time to do that meant so much to me. He was the life of our Coulter Christmas Parties, ripping up the dance floor. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. He will be truly missed. Heaven is an even better place with Paul in it.

So very sorry to hear that Paul passed away. Paul and I went to FHS and UNB together and shared lots of laughs and many cups of coffee in the  SUB. I met Paul by chance several times in Toronto and it was so easy to reconnect and catch up. He always had the gift to make people laugh. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

We are so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. We have known Paul for many years and spent lots of time together in our younger days. Our memories are of laughter, joking, fun and just plain enjoying youth. Paul was always such a joy to be around and we thought the world of him, so much so that we are still proud he was able to be the best man at our wedding back in 1975. Paul, your smile will surely be missed by all and it's obvious that you continued on touching the lives of many. Sad to say goodbye to such an amazing friend. RIP Paul.

I remember hanging out with Cindy and Paul and there was  the game room at the back of Abby's property and once they had a stage for dancing!!  I remember even way back then I was just a kid and Paul always made me feel like I was part of the crowd!  That was very rare in those days!  That is my fondest memory of him! Also I remember staying at Abby's with Paul when we were evacuated for the flood!  Great times!

Debbi - it has been too long since we all had dinner together in Burligton! We are so sorry for your loss - reading Paul's obituary reminded me of our evening together.

My deepest condolences to the Culligan family, especially to Debbi and to Ian & Janet. I will always cherish the memories of the times spent with Paul and reminisce about the   many good times in our youth.  I remember dearly the years spent with Paul during Junior High and FHS, dances, the parties in Noonan at Abbie's, Old Orchard Beach and of course the good ole Cosmo.  It seems like yesterday! I have thought about him and the family often especially this past year during his illness.  I will never forget those times Paul, I can't believe I will never see that smile and the mischief in your eyes.  Love always.. Dear Family,

Paul and I ate lunch for years at Joe's Diner. It's amazing that I remember he always ordered a Chicken Salad Sandwich and a Chocolate Milkshake. Everyday without fail, that would be his order. Paul had a great sense of humour and that's what I will remember most about him. RIP Paul, it's time for desert buddy, you earned it!

Early in my career at Coulter, I had a call from a persistent, over-the-top candidate who wouldn't take no for an answer.  The day came for his interview, and I went to the lobby to meet "Jason" who was dressed in a fur coat, and snazzy hat, talking on the phone in a whiny voice.  When he turned to greet me, it was Paul.  Of course, everyone then came out from where they had been hiding to see my reaction.   
Another time, Paul drew my name for the Christmas gift exchange: I got a gift designed to embarrass. 
The last Gord and I heard from Paul was a postcard from New Orleans, shortly after he sold his interest in We Care.  He seemed to be having a great time. After that we lost track of him, but I often thought of him, and wondered how he was doing. 
Gord and I both thought a lot of Paul, and are sorry to hear of his passing. Our condolences to Debbi and your family.

So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I remember his wonderful sense of humour clear back to Mrs. West's grade 1 class at South Devon. He will be greatly missed.

When you curl with someone like Paul every week, it's like you have a big brother in your back pocket. While it's been 7 years since I met and curled with Paul it was during the time I became pregnant with our first child. At a time filled with so much excitement, anticipation and hormones, Paul was also quick to remind us all about the stinky diapers to come. Well, he was so right. Paul, you will be greatly missed. Your smile, good humour and just one more draught, are all gone too soon. We'll be there on Friday to celebrate, and have just one more draught.
