Born in Scarborough, Ontario on March 2, 1962.
Paula was the daughter of the late Robert (“Bob”) and Joyce Gardiner. She worked as a florist for various flower shops around Nova Scotia and Alberta, in her younger years. Paula enjoyed arts, music, and cooking.
Paula is survived by her children, Dylan Gardiner-MacDonald (Alyson Clayton) and Amber Hermiston; sister Maureen MacIvor; former partner Tom MacDonald; grandchildren, Adalynn, Natalie and Nick; nieces Melissa, Angela and Megan; great nieces and nephews, along with many friends, including her close friend, Carol Reeves. She will also be missed by the MacDonald family of North Sydney.
Paula was known for her generosity and always willing to help one in need, she was also known for her love of the community, neighbors, and friends, of North end Dartmouth.
