MacAdams, Pearl Rowan – 85 of Dartmouth, passed away quietly February 1, 2013 in St. Vincent’s Nursing Home. Born in Dartmouth she was the only daughter of the late George and Nellie (Rowan) MacAdams. A former employee of the Canadian Red Cross Society for over 41 years having held the position of Director of International Assistance when she retired in 1986, travelling extensively in the Maritimes and Toronto. A member of St. James United Church, serving in the United Church Women. A member of the Order Eastern Star, Kwebec Chapter 27 and Queen Esther Chapter 61 since 1956. Special Mention for the excellent care given by her physician Dr. Gregory L. Roy since 1977.
