Robert Stephen Walker

January 18, 1962 – March 7, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and sadness, that we announce the passing of an amazing Husband, Father and Papa. Robert (Bob) Walker, age 63 of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the QE2 in Halifax, surrounded by his family.

Bob enjoyed a long career in software sales, where he worked diligently to serve his clients and was always a team player. Bob always knew how to lighten the mood and enjoyed sharing laughs with those he worked with. His work took him across North America where he got to meet lots of great people along the way. He had many stories to tell.

Bob enjoyed playing golf with friends and family and he would beam with pride when he would get a “legit par”. He also enjoyed playing pool and darts with close friends. What meant a lot to Bob was spending time with family and friends. He loved hosting events with his wife, including many pool days, get togethers and dinner parties to celebrate someone’s special moment with music always playing, and endless laughter. So many wonderful memories that we will all remember fondly. He enjoyed traveling with his family and going to Rock and Roll concerts. Bob was kind, caring, and was devoted to his family and friends.

Bob had a hard two-year battle with Parkinson’s (multiple system atrophy). He was the happiest at home, spending time with his family and he adored his grandchildren.

Bob was predeceased by his parents William (Bill) and Hilda Walker from Dartmouth. He is survived by his devoted wife Narda, daughter Amanda (Adam), brother Richard (Babs), two adorable grandchildren, Nathan and Harper, who meant the world to him.

The family would like to send sincere thanks to all the continuing care workers who supported Bob. Also, a thank you to the caring and compassionate doctors and nurses on 5.2 (ICU) QE2.

Cremation has taken place. At his request there will not be a visitation or service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
