I met Sandra at painting class a few years ago, her wit and frankness were refreshing to be around. I tried to pop in with a Tim’s coffee, a few homemade muffins, and a few treats for Buffy when I could. Unfortunately I didn’t see her in the last few months because I was back at school and trying to keep her safe from catching anything from me. We will miss her.


So very sorry to hear that Sandra had passed away.  I took painting with her and loved her positive attitude and sense of humour.  And her birds!  She had a rough time and i feel sure she is at peace now.  Beatrice

Sandra and I have spent many wonderful times together in painting class and doing errands. She was so spunky, fun and creative. The twinkle in her eyes and her talent and helpfulness were very special. I  am so sorry for her loss. I have not met her family but would like to extend my best thoughts and memories. Sandra was a good friend that I met through painting. I am very thankful to call her my friend.  She was a great painter, with a great personality, she was very funny and sarcastic.  I enjoyed the many trips to Tims with her, she definitely loved her Tims.  I know you suffered greatly, but was strong and push ahead every day.  She loved her cat Buffy and he will miss her. We will all miss her.  Rest in Peace Sandra, you can paint whatever you want now. I pass my condolences on to her family and friends.

Sandra was my Mother's hairdresser for many years and she always looked so great when Sandra finished with her hair.  Also Mum would tell me just how fantastic her miniatures looked  that Sandra had made and her dollhouse was a real work of art. Every craft she attempted she excelled at as well as her painting and her enthusiasm was contagious.  Please accept my condolences to her family  and friends.  Judy Johnston

Sandra and I have been friends for a lot of years. We shared many laughs over our Tim Horton's coffee. She enjoyed making people laugh. She will be missed. My condolences to all of her family. 

I was saddened to hear of Sandra's passing. She was an art class colleague who helped me by constant encouragement and demonstration of her artistic talent. Sandra's determination and sense of humor will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences are sent to her family at this time.

Sandra and I became good friends at the Saturday morning art workshop .  Of course the best part was the coffee at Tim's after, where a few of us would sit and try to solve the world's problems.  You could always count on Sandra for an opinion. As she would say "I speak my mind".  It was a lot of fun and it's so hard to believe that those special times are gone. I know she leaves behind hundreds of beautiful paintings which I truly hope will find places where they are admired and valued as they so deserve.  Her spirit lives there in her paintings. Good luck on your journey Sandra. I will miss the painting...and the coffee.

So sorry to hear of Sandra’s passing, certainly memories of Sandra cutting my sister’s and mine hair & hanging out with Jamie are treasured. But seeing Sandra as she often walked in Cole harbour & running into her on her shopping trips & before COVID at Tim’s is remembered fondly. My thoughts & prayers are with the family.

Sorry to hear of cousin Sandra's passing. Condolences to all.

I am so very sorry to hear of Sandra’s passing. Sandra was I my late husband’s hairdresser and good friend for many years. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this sad time.

My mother and I were next neighbors to Sandra for many years ....she was so good to me and my mother and we both are very saddened by this loss.  and would like to send our deepest sympathy and condolences to all her loved ones...

Sandra was a fellow artist for many years at Studio Group, and I so enjoyed her upbeat , friendly personality.   She really enjoyed what she did, and always showed the positive attitude that carried her through life.
