Terence William Evans

Evans, Terence W. – 76 of Halifax, passed away November 20, 2014 in the Q E II Victoria General Hospital. Born in North Sydney, he was the son of the late John and Sarah (Cox) Evans. Terence was involved with the building of St. Francis by the Lake Anglican Church in Lower Sackville and retired from the Canadian Coast Guard after 37 years of service. He is survived by his son Robert (Deb) of Calgary; daughter Karen (Don) Lr. Sackville; brothers Fred (Marion) of Dartmouth and Jack (Gertie) of North Sydney; grandchildren Alexander, Morgan and Sidney; great grandchild Jorden as well as many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother Bobby; half-brothers Ralph, Jim, Edgar and Wall; half-sisters Ella, Violet, Margaret and Queenie. A gathering will be held at 11am Saturday November 29, in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home 217 Portland Street. Family flowers only donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
