Thomas Harold Ritchie

Ritchie, Thomas Harold – 81, of Dartmouth, passed away May 16, 2012 in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Dartmouth he was the son of the late Harold and Jean (Owen) Ritchie. Thomas was very active in sports mainly baseball and hockey over the years. He looked after the inventory during his career with Harbour Motors, Fairley & Stevens and A.E. Fowles. Later in his career he moved on to working at the Nautical Institute and retiring from NSCC Leeds Street Campus. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Beryl (Theuerkauf); sons Glenn (Krysta), David (Debbie); daughter Susan (Hector) Ferguson; sister Lorraine (Bob) Farrant; uncle William Owen; brother in-law William Theuerkauf; grandchildren Trevor Ritchie and Rebecca Bullmer; step grandchildren Megan and Michael Wyszynski; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a nephew Bobby Farrant. A memorial service will be held 11am Saturday May 19, 2012 in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. Rev.
