

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, great grandfather. Survived by his daughter, Glenna(Leonard) Sullivan; son, Gordon(Leeann Riley) Bowser; Grandchildren, Patrick Sullivan, Andrew (Amanda) Sullivan, Gregory Bowser, Michael Bowser, Jack Riley, Katie Riley, Ashley O’Brien, Amy O’Brien and Cody Schultz; Great grandchildren, Nathan, Sadie and Logan. His sister Evelyn, British Columbia as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his loving wife Barbara (Haugen) Bowser; three daughters in infancy Alayne, Roxanne, Suzanne; his parents, Howard and Evangeline Bowser; sisters, Norma, Margaret, Thelma and Mae and his brother Garfield.
He worked for Benjamin Studios, GB Murphy Jewelry store, and Tower Jewelers. He was a lifetime member and past Master of Eastern Star Masonic Lodge #51 Lifetime member of Queen Easter Chapter #61, Order of the Eastern Star. Weldon could always be found outdoors tending his gardens, playing with his grandchildren, and hunting and fishing. Family held a big part of his heart.

Visitation will be held at A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth on Tuesday, September 3rd from 6-8 pm with memorial service also at the funeral home on September 4th at 1pm. Reception to follow. There will also be Masonic and Eastern Star services. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to charity of your choice.
