Yvonne Louise Beazley

Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family and loved ones on January 28, 2020. Yvonne is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Stephen Leo and her three wonderful children, Mark (Maggie), Matthew (Megan) and Meggie (John); seven grandchildren, her pride and joy, Jaiya, Angus, Jack, Emily, Levi, Lennon and Law. Also survived by her siblings, Brenda, Tommy, Christine and Joanne (Sandy) and her dear friend Pauline. Yvonne will be greatly missed by her best friend of 50 years, her sidekick, her partner in crime through thick and thin, Cathy Beazley. Yvonne was an avid gardener, taking so much pride in her yard for every season, a true labour of love. Everything she touched looked amazing, as we could all see from their beautifully decorated home. She did so love puttering around in her little shed working on her many crafts. Yvonne dedicated her life to raising her children, first and fore most. She was a phenomenal wife, mother, sister and best friend and was loved by all who knew her. With her love for life and her kind heart, she connected with everyone of all ages who came to know her. She always loved to entertain; making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. The party always began when Yvonne arrived, with her contagious laughter and infectious smile. She loved to travel to Cuba, following the sun, this being almost like a second home, relaxing on the beach. Yvonne, we love you and we will forever miss you. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit nurses and doctors for their support, and a very special thank you to the wonderful compassionate VON staff that guided and helped us take care of Yvonne. Family flowers only as a request by the family, donations can be made to Canadian Liver Foundation. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31 from 5-8pm in A L Mattatall Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 10am in St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Eastern Passage with reception to follow in the Lions Club, 65 Hornes Rd., Eastern Passage.
