Aaron M Schmitt

He was born October 18, 1978 in St. Charles, Missouri, the son of John Robert and Kathryn (Swaters) Schmitt. He started his award-winning tattoo career in Muscatine and worked for Epic Tattoo in Davenport for close to 20 years as well as a couple of years for Tooth & Nail Tattoo.

He loved life and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, cooking, grilling, especially seasoned vegetables, kayaking and camping. He loved the outdoors and was a Master Gardner. In his younger days, he participated in the Boy Scouts and was raised in the Lutheran church. He had numerous best friends and was loved by so many, he will be greatly missed!

Aaron was proud of his German heritage as well as his Hard Rock Café pin collection, originally started by his father. He had a lot of fun building and playing Legos with his children over the years.

Those left to honor his memory include his children: Aurelie Schmitt, North Carolina, Liam Wren, Clinton, IA and Vaughn Larson, New Orleans, his mother, Kathryn Schmitt, Davenport and numerous extended family members.

His father, John, brother, Ben and his maternal and paternal grandparents preceded him in death.
