Services to celebrate the life of Abdul Mohammad Ali, 89, of East Moline, Il were held at 1:00 on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the Islamic Center of the Quad Cities in East Moline, IL. Burial followed in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Mr. Ali died on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Genesis Medical Center, Ilini Campus in Silvis, IL.Abdul Hameed Mohammad Ali was born on May 4, 1926 in Mexico, the son of Jose and Elodia Mendoza. After moving to the United States he served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Following his military obligations, he was employed for many years as a food processor at Heinz.Mr. Ali is survived by several children, grand-children, nieces, and nephews.
