He lost his long-term battle against bipolar disorder on Saturday, September 9th 2023. Adam was born on May 22nd, 1989 in Wyandotte, MI, the son of Bob and Colleen Bildner. He adored his family and did the best he could to show it when he wasn’t swallowed by his shadows. If you knew Adam you would know he loved to write letters of encouragement to loved ones, he had sensitive heart, a very witty personality, and when you could make him smile you wanted nothing more than to find a way to keep it there.
He is survived by former wife Mandy Bildner and children; Karma, Eli, Dash, and Vayda; his parents; his sister Meghan Briere (wife Amanda) and brother Stuart Bildner (wife Megan and son Owen); and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Adam fought mental illness for many years and will be tremendously missed by all of us who were cheering him on in his battle. Adam was a big believer and is with his heavenly father and smiling down.
Bipolar affects over 46 million people worldwide and can have dire consequences if left untreated: around 16% of those diagnosed commit suicide and 60% develop substance abuse disorders.
