Alberto John Madison

Alberto J. Madison went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 8, 2010 at St. Mary’s Nursing and Rehab Center Davenport Iowa. Funeral services will be held 11:00Am Monday (10/18) at the Oakdale Cemetery Chapel. On line condolences may be made at www.rungemortuary.com.

Alberto was born February 20, 1930, in Rodero Texas, the son of the late Dan & Malanie Madison. He devoted his life to Christ and joined Hightower Church of God in Christ in Luxora, Arkansas, where Elder W. S. Brown was Pastor. He moved to Peoria Ill and later to Davenport, Iowa where he worked for the City.

He was a Korean Conflict Veteran having served in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Garden Grove Church Rock Island, IL. And was a founder of the Royal Family Garden Non-Profit Organization.

He leaves to cherish his memories: One son, Micah Madison of East Moline Ill; Seven daughters, Maxine Massey (Morris) of Swartz Creek, Michigan, Mary Jane Johnson of Rock Island IL, Debra Williams, Diana, Donna, Tracy and Talonna Madison all of Davenport Iowa; and thirteen-Grandchildren and twelve Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by children, Alberto Jr., Alberta, and Terry Madison.
