Dear Bev, I was so saddened to see this. I enjoyed every minute I had working with Alex at the Dairy Queen so many years ago. I looked forward to coming home from college just to spend time with him. I am not sure I've ever met anyone so positive or full of life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family.

I met Alex when he was managing the Dairy Queen. Steve Shepherd worked there and Steve Retzl and I used to hang out there. One day Alex came out back in the school yard and shagged flies with us. He still had his Dairy Queen outfit on but he made several Willie Mays basket catches. He was one great guy that respected people. My condolences to your family.
