I had the pleasure of meeting Anita when she twirled baton with the Naperville Steperettes. She was a hard worker and a beautiful performer. Our symbol is a dancing star, and that is the way I will always remember her. In the photo, Anita is kneeling - 4th from the left.

I was so sad when I heard the news of the loss of Doctor Pinc! She has been my gynecologist for a number of years and I will truly miss her. she was so kind and gentle. I can't imagine having to go to another doctor. We don't always understand why these tragic things happen. May She Rest In Peace

Anita delivered our 2nd daughter, Callie. I was trying to VBAC and it was not going to happen. She was so instrumental in my mental health and helping me understand that it was going to be okay. She was amazing through it all. Then at my post partum appointment, I’ll never forget it, Callie had a massive blow out. As I’m trying to get myself together and clean everything up, she picks my Callie girl up (because she was screaming) and started to love on her. As she was walking out of the room to walk Callie around, Anita says “There has to be some perks to my job and this is one of them.” She was so gentle and caring. My prayers go out to the family!

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Pinc and I lift all those who love her dearly up in prayer. Dr. Pinc was my gynecologist for many years, saw me through a pre-cancerous scare, and a long journey of infertility which ultimately led to the conception of my son. Once I was released from the care of the MDs at U of Iowa after IVF, I came right back under Anita’s care for the remainder of my pregnancy. I saw many different doctors at The Group during this time and always said it didn’t matter as long as Dr. Pinc delivered my son. Of course, there was no guarantee of this. On the night my son was born, after hours of contractions and laboring, the door to my birthing room softly opened and standing in the doorway in the soft glow of the lights in the hallway, was Dr. Pinc. My husband and I will never forget that moment, and still to this day, tell the story of the “angel” walking in and of the feeling of comfort knowing that we were in the BEST care and our prayer had been answered. This is a huge loss for many - and one that will be felt for a long time. Sending love and prayers to all those who were blessed by her life and her presence.

Dr. Pinc was my doctor for many years. She was the kindest most caring doctor I have ever known. I just found out today when my grandson Austin, a friend of Izzys, told me. In 2010, Dr. Pinc performed a surgical procedure for me . She was so comforting and helped me so much through that. I also use to talk with her when I saw her at soccer games. I am so deeply heartbroken. She was a beautiful human being inside and out. I will miss her so. There will not be any doctor for me who could replace her. I am so saddened for her children. I will miss her forever. Chris Creekmore

Anita assisted me in a difficult labor with my first child and I never experienced a doctor with better bed side manor. I never was panicked because she was right there holding my hand and walking me through each and every step. I love she had for her patients was unbelievable. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts!! We are very sorry for this tragic event.

It is with deep sorrow that I got the news about Anita last week right after her accident. Anita came to work in my laboratory at the University of Illinois at Chicago when she was pregnant with Sasha. That was a long time ago but we all remember her for her vibrant smile and giving personality. We stayed in touch all through her time in medical school and until a few years back. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and she will always be remembered for the special person she was. I am enclosing a picture that was taken when we all attended a scientific meeting in Fort Collins, Colorado which is a cherished memory.
