Arlene Vogel Phillips, 90, of Davenport passed away at her home on March 18, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the German-American Heritage Museum, Schuetzen Park or Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. A Davenport native, Arlene Vogel married Sherman H. Phillips in 1948. He preceded her in death in 1998. Her memberships included Trinity Episcopal Cathedral and the German-American Heritage Society. Survivors include a daughter, Juanita Phillips; sister, Anita Hanson; niece, Carla Copeland; two grand nephews, Chris and David Copeland and her dog, Princess. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michele; parents, Ernest Vogel and Hertha (Berg) Vogel Hildebrand.
