Barbara R. Norgren

Barbara Norgren, 67, of Bettendorf, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, December 3, 2011 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the family for an educational fund for her grandchildren. Online condolences may be made at www.rungemortuary.com. Barbara was born September 22, 1944, the daughter of Finace and Pauline (Allsbrow) Carlton. She married David L. Norgren, October 19, 1963 in Rock Island. Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, reading, and spending time with her lunch group and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, David, Bettendorf; daughter Sherry Norgren, Bettendorf; grandchildren Cody DeBoe and Kaira DeBoe, Bettendorf; brothers Don Carlton, Colorado, and Jim Carlton, Moline; sisters Elaine Littrell, Idaho, Betty Bowling, Moline, and Nancy Paschel; and sister-in-law Lynn Carlton, Seaton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother George Carlton, sister Catherine Rosera, and son Kevin Norgren.
