My heart is breaking. I always held Ben in such high esteem. He was so kind and generous...not only to me but also to my parents before they died. I don't know where the time goes...I still planned to take him out to eat for his birthday gift last year. I knew where we were going to go, just needed to find a time that worked for both of us. I just thought we had plenty of "time." My sympathy to both of his son's and their families. And to Andrew..he was Ben's pride and joy. I never got to meet "Tiny", but I'm sure he is with her now. He always spoke so lovingly about her. Goodbye my dear friend. I will miss you and our chats.

My condolences to the whole Lorenzen family.
It was my privilege to know Ben. One of my fondest memories of him was being taken for a "tour" of his yard last summer. We were on his trusty riding mower, with his beloved Daisy riding shot gun. When Ben would turn the key on that rider, Daisy would come running.
Ben was one of the good guys, and a true gentleman. He was intelligent and kind, with a keen sense of humor.

He will be truly missed by those who knew him.
