Bernetta "Nita" Hearn

A gathering will be held to celebrate Nita’s life on Friday May 16, 2025, from 4-7pm at the Runge Mortuary. Memorials may be made in Nita’s name to the ALS Association. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.

Nita was born on May 31, 1958, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Marshall Evans and Jewell Davis. She loved to laugh, watch old movies, and spend time with family and friends. Nita was an old soul that spoke her mind. She always made everyone feel welcome and enjoyed a good party. She will be missed by all blessed to know her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Tykisha Allender, Lanisha (John) Terrell, Willie Hearn IV, DeMarco Hearn; grandchildren, Jayla, Richard, Raesean, NeKhyran, Jaysia, Jycole, Zhariah, Elijah, DeMarco Jr., Ashlin, Aubrey, Finn, Kylie, Bukola, Malachi, Kylen, Malia, Khy-ale; greatgrandchildren, Karter, Nakyia, Kaius, Nova, Kohl; siblings, Thomas Clemmons, Elvis Britt, Terry Britt, Gerald (Gale) Britt, Debra Britt, Nellie (Cortez) McGinnis, significant other Antione Marshall; ex-husband, Willie Hearn and many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Willisa Hearn and grandson, Emmanuel Aremu; husband, Jimmy Britt and Baby Hearn (her dog).
