Bernice E. Hintze, 92, of Bettendorf passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, October 2, 2017 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Bernice was born September 25, 1925 in LeClaire, IA to Charles and Mable (Clifton) Hill. She was united in marriage to Raymond Hintze on June 24, 1945. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1990. She was employed by Plaza Bowl and later HyVee working until her 80’s.
Bernice adored her family and enjoyed relaxing in her screened in porch. She was a member of Parkview Lutheran Church.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Donna Hintze, Carren (Joseph) Vize and Teresa (Thomas) Cooney, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, brother, Jerry Hill and sister, Maxine Felt.
In addition to her parents and husband Bernice was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Fulton.
