Betty J. DeCraene, 83, of Davenport passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Bickford of Davenport. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Weerts Funeral Home. Betty was born on July 19, 1939 in Bettendorf, IA to Fritz and Lilly (Hultquist) Ritter. She graduated from Bettendorf High School. Betty was united in marriage to Gary DeCraene on June 10, 1961 in Moline, IL. He preceded her in death on December 18, 2016. She held a number of clerical positions for various companies throughout the Quad Cities, including Servalite, Alcoa and Scott County. Betty was a member of Our Lady of the River Church, LeClaire, IA, Red Hat Society, "Diner Dolls". She enjoyed photography, antiques and acquiring special collectibles. Above all else, she cherished family and the time spent with them.
Survivors include her children, Rick (Cheryl) DeCraene of Naperville, IL and Pam French of North Carolina; grandchildren, Rachel, Dana, Spencer, Luke and Mya; great granddaughter, Tessa and siblings, Roma, Sandy, Fred, Donna, Jack and Lori.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Cecil and Steve.
