Davenport, IA Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Ann Suggs, 67, of Davenport, will be 12:00 pm Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Family will greet friends on Wednesday from 11:00 am to service time at the Mortuary. Burial will follow at Pinehill Cemetery, Davenport. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service in charge of arrangements. Betty passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Genesis Medical Center – West Campus, Davenport.Betty Ann Span was born on February 20, 1942 in Indianola, Mississippi, the daughter of Dan and Jimmie Span. She was a member of the Dedicated Few Christian Fellowship Church, Rock Island.Survivors include her daughters; Debra Morgan and Esther Lane both of Davenport, son; Clyde Lane of Davenport, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, sisters; Jean Johnson of Mississippi, Rosie Thomas of Chicago, and a brother; Dan Span Jr of Mississippi, significant other; John Edward Page of Davenport, and several great nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister; Jessie Span, brother; Willie Span, and grandmother Betty Span.Memorials may be made to the family
