Betty C. Warner, 95, of Davenport passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Weerts Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be left to EndPreeclampsia or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Betty was born on August 8, 1927 in Osage, IA to John and Bessie (Button) Tubbs. She graduated from Osage High School in 1946. She was united in marriage to Melvin Warner on May 22, 1955. She was a nurse’s aide at the University of Iowa where she met her husband. She also worked at the former St. Luke’s Hospital in the housekeeping department. Betty was a longtime member of Bettendorf Christian Church. She enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeye teams, doing puzzles and crocheting. She also was an avid gardener. Betty was very devoted to her family.
Survivors include her children, Ron (Jean Molloy) Warner, Linda Johnson, Mary (Greg) Mann, Lori (Richard) Moughler and Barbara Poell all of Davenport; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin; son, John Warner; granddaughter, Shelly Bridgewater; grandson, Kyle Briggs; five sisters and two brothers.
