Beverly Ann Estell

Beverly A. Estell, 80, of Bettendorf, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Clarissa C Cook Hospice House with her loving family by her side. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 10 am at St. John Vianney, with Father Vrba officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 4-7 pm at Weerts Funeral Home, with a Rosary Service at 7 pm. There will also be visitation at church from 9-10 am. Memorials in Beverly’s name may be made to the family.

Beverly was born on October 19, 1939 to James and Eva Shackleford in Champaign, Illinois. She was united in marriage to Carl D. Estell on September 5, 1970; he preceded her in death. Beverly was a devoted Catholic and attended Mass every day that she was able to. The three most prominent things in Beverly’s life were her family, her church, and her work. She greatly enjoyed taking care of those in their time of need.

Beverly is survived by her children: Ann (Leroy) Pianka and Darin (Barbara) Estell; grandchildren: Andy Lopez, Bella Lopez, David Proksch, Michael (Andrea) Proksch, and Jacob Proksch; great-grandchildren: Donald Boersma, Elliot, Stella, Joel and Penelope Proksch, and Oakley Proksch; siblings Mary Ann Bergeson, Joyce Nicholson, and James Shackleford. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Joseph Shackleford, an infant brother and her grandparents Catherine and Joseph Shackleford.
