Beverly Faye Thorman

Beverly F. Thorman, 83, of Davenport Iowa passed away with family by her side on September 23, 2025. A visitation/ celebration of life will be held at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory Davenport, Iowa on September 27, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. She will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at Oakdale Memorial Garden in Davenport, Iowa following the visitation. A weenie roast will be held that evening starting at 4 pm in Alpha Illinois. Memorials may be made in Bev’s name to your favorite charity of choice. Bev was born on September 25, 1941, in Davenport, Iowa to Arthur and Alvera (Beste) Schmahl. After many years of service, she retired from Palmer College of Chiropractic. She worked as an administrative secretary. Bev was an avid local dirt track racing fan, going to the Mississippi Valley Fair, weenie roasts, shopping and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Michael (Jullianna) Thorman, Kelli Rogers, Renee (Bill Bouchard) Young; grandchildren, Michelle (George) Holderness, Dustin (Amber) Rogers, Clarissa Young; great grandchildren, Eric Holderness and Hunter Rogers.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dale Schmahl, Melvin Schmahl and Dallas “Punch” Schmahl.
