Visitation will be from 1 – 2PM, Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Runge Mortuary. A graveside service will be held Monday, August 15, 2011 2:30 PM at Rock Island National Cemetery. Bill lived a full life and he enjoyed volunteering in many different events around the Quad Cities before he became ill.
He is survived by his daughter Amber Martens (Davis); sisters Vicke Hoy and Jody Martens; and brothers Pete Martens and Kenny Martens. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, mother, father, brother and a granddaughter.
