Bobby H. Stottlemyre, age 95, passed away on May 14, 2026, in DeWitt, IA. A funeral service will be held at Weerts Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, beginning at 10:30 a.m., with a visitation one-hour prior beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Rock Island National Cemetery following services.
Bobby was born on February 19, 1931, in Cabool, MO, daughter of Ernest Payne and Dorothy Booth. The former Bobby Payne married Clifton Leon Stottlemyre on April 30, 1949, in Princeton, MO.
She is survived by her daughters, Diania Hamly of Davenport, IA, Teresa Stottlemyre of Davenport, IA and Tamara (Kurt) Hook of Fulton, IL; Brother Kent Payne; Sister Janet Plakk; grandchildren, Amy Hamly, Adam (Lisa) Hamly and Natasha (Chad) Funderburk; and great grandchildren, Brady Hildebrant, Cole Hildebrant, Taylor Hamly, Parker Hamly and Cooper Funderburk.
Preceded in death are her brothers, Wilford Payne, Jimmy Payne, and Larry Payne; and sisters Connie Garlick, Betty Lumley, Kathleen McIntosh and Donna Bowman.
