Bonnie was born on October 9, 1959 to Alfred Graves and Ileene (Crandell) Graves. Bonnie was a graduate of Davenport Central High School, Stewart School of Cosmetology, and later Capri College of Cosmetology.
Bonnie was married to Jeffrey Grindle on November 18, 1978. Bonnie spent her life caring for her family, both immediate and extended. She had a big heart, and always had a full house. Bonnie enjoyed contributing within her community whether it be the 4th of July celebration, being with neighbors, or helping neighborhood children. She had a kindness and a spirit that will be missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by daughters Violet (Sean) Talbot of Bettendorf, Iowa, Rose Dipple of Riverdale, Iowa; and she was Nana to Joshua, Athena, Elvira, and Amelia. She was preceded in death by her husband Jeff Grindle, her son Lance Lee Grindle, her parents, and sister.
Visitation will be on August 17th from 11am-2pm at Runge Mortuary & Crematory with a celebration of Bonnie and Jeff’s lives at 2pm. This will be followed by a graveside service at Oakdale Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Riverdale Fire Department.
