She was surrounded by her family and loved ones. Per Bonnie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral as they were, “too sad.” She wanted a party, so please join the family in a Celebration of Life at Harley Corin’s (the old Wagon Wheel) at 1708 State Street in Bettendorf on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 11:30 am until 3:30 pm. Food and drinks will be provided. Memorials may go to her daughters.
She was born January 9, 1960 in Davenport to Arlene Brown and Cleo Bingham. Bonnie called the Quad Cities home, living her life here, getting married and raising two daughters.
She was so proud of the strong women her daughters grew to become. She also adored her grandchildren. She was a hard worker and recently had retired from the City of Bettendorf Maintenance Department.
Bonnie was an ornery gal and loved to play pranks on everyone and left a lasting impression on those she worked with. She was a strong, feisty, funny woman who loved to bring a smile and a laugh to everyone and she will be dearly missed and always remembered by those who were lucky to know her.
Bonnie leaves behind daughters, Amber Jimenez (Mark Mosbrucker), Davenport, and Katie Holmlund-Weisert (Sean), Davenport; granddaughter, Elisha Fry, Iowa City, and grandson, Björn Holmlund, Davenport; sisters: Mona Bingham, Chicago, Cathy Zabel, Bettendorf, Glenda Johnson, Cumberland, WI, Mary (Steve) Tometich, Bettendorf, and Becky Bingham; brothers: Jim (Sue) Long, Bettendorf and John (Melissa) Long, Camanche, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Chester and sister, Susan Bingham.
