Visitation will be Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 11 am until noon, with the service to follow at 12 pm. at The Runge Mortuary. His final resting place will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors. Memorials may go to the American Heart Association.
Brad was born in Davenport on February 24, 1951, to Leo R. and Mildred (Iverson) Entler. He graduated from Davenport West High School and went on to serve his country in the Army overseas during the Vietnam War.
On August 21, 1982, he married Cynthia “Cindy” Stebens in Davenport. He worked as a forklift operator in the warehouse for Eagle Food Stores in Milan for over 30 years, retiring in 2006.
Brad had a passion for cars, whether collecting them, working on them or going to car shows. His pride and joy were his 1969 Chevelle and 1963 Impala. He also owned several motorcycles and loved taking them out for a ride. A good word to describe him was a “tinkerer” in many things including woodworking and fixing broken items. If he couldn’t fix it, he gave it to his son, Shawn to try and fix. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Cindy, son, Shawn (Katy) Stebens, Davenport; grandchildren: Isabelle (Xavier) Cooper, Nathaniel, Zachary, Addison and Eleanora Stebens and great grandchildren: Miyah and Layah Cooper, C.C., Timothy and Nova Stebens; sister-in-law, Robin (Chris) Jennings, brothers-in-law, Bill (Sheila) Stebens, Alan Strockbine; and Chris Quilty; special friends, Fred Wheeler and Mark Jennings, and many extended family members. In addition to his parents, Brad was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Charlotte Stebens, brother, Gary, sisters-in-law, Paula Strockbine and Cathy Quilty, and brother-in-law, Jamie Stebens.
