

Bradley Joseph Wild, 28, of Davenport peacefully passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 surrounded by his family at the University of Iowa Hospitals after a valiant and courageous battle with MPNST, a rare form of sarcoma. The family will welcome condolences and memories at a visitation on Sunday from 2-5 at Runge Mortuary. A private funeral service will be held. Brad was born April 3, 1986 in Iowa City, IA to Kevin and Diane Wild. He was the best son and brother. Brad graduated from Central High School in 2004 and loved all things drumline, Batman, and music. He graduated from Valparaiso University as a mechanical engineer in 2008, and began working for KJWW Engineering Consultants in Rock Island. Brad adored his job. Brad's family was his everything. Those who loved him know he always put others first and wanted everyone to be happy. His wife and children (and cats) were the light of his life.
Those honoring Brad's legacy include his wife, rock and love of his life, Bailey; his children: Haylie, Tanner, and Kayla; his parents: Kevin and Diane Wild; sister, Bridget Wild (Benjamin Kornfeld and niece, Louella); grandparents: Arthur and Rita Kuehn, Elaine Kruse, Ramona Wild, Barbara and Vincent Louw, Linda and Bryan Schmitt; sisters-in-law, Hannah (Kyle) Davis and Kyra Thovson; brother "bro"- in-law, Logan Thovson, mothers-in-law, Katie Thovson and Teresa Louw, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and hundreds of friends. The family wishes to thank the community for all of their support and also KJWW Engineering Consultants for their unwavering commitment to Brad's battle and family.
