Brenda Cole

Brenda Lee (Kuhlman) Cole, 62, passed away on July 1, 2025, at her sister's home in Davenport, Iowa. Per Brenda’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.rungemortuary.com.

On October 24, 1962, Brenda was born to Richard James Kuhlman Sr. And Lenora Melinda Kuhlman. Brenda was raised and educated in Davenport, Iowa. She met Elmer Cole Jr. in 1980. They were united in marriage on October 19, 1985. Three children were born to this union, Alisia (Robert) Brown, David Cole and Daniel Cole. They moved to Manchester, Iowa in 1986. In 2022, after losing Elmer to cancer, Brenda moved back to Davenport to be closer to family.

Those left to cherish her memory included, children, Alisia (Robert) Brown, David Cole, Daniel Cole; siblings, Mary Schlieper, Patty (Gilbert) Cole Richard Kuhlman Jr; halfsiblings, Joretta Hickle Eberine, Merely Hickle, Dale Hickle, Fred Hickle, Bobby Hickle, Ronald Hickle; grandchildren, Maria Cole, Robert Brown IV, Zoey Cole; 4 step grandchildren and 10 step grandchildren.
