Bruce D. Bleke

Bruce D. Bleke, 68, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015, surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Davenport. Visitation will be Friday, May 8th from 4-7 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Bruce was born May 19, 1946 in Fort Wayne, IN; the son of John and Ruth Bleke. He was a graduate of Valparaiso University in 1967. He was united in marriage to Martha Asher on June 15, 1968. He retired from Acosta PMI after a long and successful career. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Davenport and served on the Zoning Board of Adjustments for Scott County. Bruce enjoyed golfing with friends, mowing the lawn with neighbors and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Martha, daughters: Laura (Bob) Kendall and Sharon (Colby) DeGuevara; grandchildren: Colin, Molly, Kate, Madelyne and Abigail and a sister, Lois Bleke.
