Bruce W. Wacker died at home Sunday March 19. A brief memorial service will be held at Runge Mortuary in Davenport on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 10:00 to 12:00. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lynn, 3 step children – Laurie Davies of Mauston, WI, Todd Volkert of Milan, IL and Tim Volkert of Bettendorf. He has 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Also sorely missing him will be his brother Ed Wacker of Grinnel, IA, and 3 sisters – Patty Benson of Berthoud, Co, Sheryl Berglund of Davenport and Darla Heritage of Blue Grass He also left nine nieces and nephew. Bruce was a blessing to anyone who knew him. Donations to the memorial fund will be used to defray final expenses.
