Charleen Elizabeth Raney

Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 14, 2025, at 2 pm at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Charleen will be laid to rest next to her husband Danny in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Vietnam Vets #299. Charleen was born on May 2, 1940, in Davenport, IA, to John and Dorothy Ryan. She was united in marriage to Danny L. Raney in 1989, blending their families to make one. Charleen enjoyed her beloved dogs, keeping up on the news and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Vince (Christine) Vrana, Gordon (Kimberly) Vrana, Becca Williams; grandchildren, Ryan (Kelly), Courtney (Mike), Christina (Perry), Danielle, Cody (Jen), Kevin (Stasia), Rhea (Tyler), James (Alexis), Ken (Heather), Megan (Jason), Kayne, Karver; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, John Ryan, Cece Meyer, Mike (Laurie) Ryan and son-in-law Steve Remley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; children, Bonnie Remley, Daniel Vrana; sister-in-law Kathy Ryan and brother-in-law Bruce Meyer.

The family would like to thank Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House and Lighthouse Home Care for their wonderful care of Charleen.
