Per his request, cremation rites were accorded. A Celebration of his life will begin at 1 pm on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the Calvary Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Buffalo. His final resting place will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo. Memorials can be given to Calvary Lutheran Church in Buffalo, IA. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.
He was born October 17, 1947 in Davenport to Charles Sr. and Muriel (Dodds) Kroeger. He worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for 30 years as a machinist prior to retiring. He loved watching WWE Wrestling and could often be seen enjoying his daily walks to the Casey’s store, post office, and bank in Buffalo. Chuck was a kind, gentle, and generous person who was attentive to his family and friends.
Those left to honor his memory include his siblings: Diana (Dale) Stowe, Davenport, IA, Sherry (Bob) Shinn, Apache Junction, AZ, Connie (Gilbert) Coonfare, Haines City, FL, and Stephen (Barb) Grant, North Port, FL; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Nancy and Rick Harland, Davenport, IA.
His father, Charles Sr., mother, Muriel Grant Davis, and a sister, Patricia Grant preceded him in death.
